OA provides a wealth of resources to aid in your recovery from compulsive overeating. Here are some of the best:

  • OA.org – the mothership online for Overeaters Anonymous. Tons of free information as well as a well-stocked bookstore chock full of OA approved literature.
  • OA Region III – The Central Colorado Intergroup is part of OA Region 3. Check out their website for information on what’s happening in our region.
  • Suggested OA Meeting Format – the link takes you to the most recently revised (Rev. September 2013) OA meeting format. Feel free to download and adapt for your meeting.
  • Keep your abstinence strong and intact with the Strong Abstinence Checklist from OA World Service.
  • Sponsorship Resources – learn to sponsor better with these helpful sponsor/sponsee resources.
  • The Grand Junction area is a thriving part of the Central Colorado Intergroup. In order to provide a strong local resource for compulsive eaters in this growing community the combined groups of Overeaters Anonymous in Grand Junction have launched an informational website to list local meeting and contact information.
  • Other Colorado Intergroups – Compulsive Eaters in Northern Colorado (including Boulder, Greeley and Ft. Collins) can find information and meetings by visiting the Northern Colorado Intergroup of OA website while Southern Coloradans (including residents of Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Walsenburg and Woodland Park) can seek help and find meetings through the Pikes Peak Serenity Intergroup of OA.
  • OA en Español – the Spanish language version of OA.org
  • OA Podcasts – tune in to interviews with members, literature readings and discussions and other great audio content. Play them online or download for listening at your convenience on your PC or iPod. By the way, the OADenver.org site has put together quite a nice collection of recordings from locally held OA events – check them out!
  • L.A. Intergroup Virtual Speakers Bureau – LA provides access to dozens of inspiring speakers sharing their experience, strength and hope from as far back as 1960. A truly wonderful audio treasure chest.
  • An OA Big Book Study – working the 12 steps in OA is the foundation of our recovery. This site provides a wealth of resources to guide your step work based on Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book.

  • Find an Overeaters Anonymous meeting in Colorado, online, by phone or around the worldFind a meeting. Anywhere! OA.org provides access to over 6,500 meetings worldwide in the format that’s most convenient for you whether your on the road or stuck at home. We provide access on this site to our local Intergroup meetings as well as online, telephone and face-to-face meetings around the world.
  • A Step Ahead Newsletter is a free quarterly newsletter for OA members, groups and intergroups. Available for free download in either black and white or color.
  • Lifeline is OA’s monthly magazine full of the true stories of OA members, who share the challenges and triumphs of recovery from compulsive overeating. Subscriptions available for both print and digital editions.
